Only a small preview when you send them a link. A living relative shows as a name and a face, and none of it appears in search results.

A person's page or a keepsake. Tap Share to send a link. Someone outside the family sees only a small preview:

  • Someone living: their name and face.
  • Someone who has died: their name, face and years.
  • A keepsake: its name and one picture.

Everything else stays inside the family.

The whole tree. Households on the plan can make one private tree link:

  • Living people: it shows names only.
  • Never included: stories, voice notes, sources and health notes.
  • Turning it off: making a new link turns the old one off.
